1st LTTA in Bulgaria

Erasmus+ 1st LTTA in Bulgaria, Sofia (Secure Internet, Real Freedom)

1st day

The hungarian team arrived to the airport to Sofia at 13:00 today. Our bulgarian colleague Mariya waited for us there. We booked a taxi and went to the hotel. There we met the italian team. After that we went to discover the capital city. During the walking we just found a church in totally new style (Catholic Cathedral of St Joseph). We were very curious to look inside. There was a very helpful lady who explened the whole history of the church for us from the 7th century before christus until now. It was a very interesting meeting with this lady. Thank you very much for her the excelent guide. In the evening we greeted our Turkish friends. Then we got ready for tomorrow. We refined tomorrow's presentation and details of Wednesday's Hungarian evening.



2nd day

It was a great day for us. In the morning, after the breakfast we met all the partners at the hotel and went together to the bulgarian school. There was an opening ceremony colored with folkdances and folksongs. The headmistress welcomed us and the people from the bulgarian ministry and from the sefer internet center kept a prezentaion about their strategy. It was very useful for us, for our project. We could see that they have a lot of materials about internet security and they have also a helpcenter for the young generation. After the presentation we had lunch and students prezented their country and their institutions. After lunch the students had a course about safe internet and the teachers had a transnational meeting. During the meeting we analyzed the result of questionnaires and tried to fix the task for next 6 month. We signed the contracts. After that we also have a meeting about the internet security. We finished our work at half past 5 PM. When we came back to the hotel we had a meeting with our last Bulgarian partner from Burgas. It was a big surprise and very big pleasure for me. When they heared about our trip to Sofia, they decided to meet us and they travelled from Burgas to Sofia to have some fun hours together. This evening was amazing for me to be together again with them and with their teach Nedka. Thaks a lot to my best friends.



3rd day

Today we started the work at the hotel. The students had a training there about the secure internet. For the teachers it was a freetime. Until this time I met with my Bulgarian friends from Burgas to say Good bye to them. It was a great time to talk with them but the parting again was very difficult for us. After the lunch we had a tour guide in the center of Sofia. We could see the Church of Saint George from the roman age, the Bulgarian National Bank, the Bulgarian Parliament, the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, current National Assembly building, the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, etc.



4th day

Today we had a busy day. In the morning we went to the National Historical Museum, where the students had some activities in an old school and studied the history of Bulgaria. After that we participated in a chocolate workhop. And in the evening everyone prepared their traditional food, folksong, folkdance, introduction of their country. It was an amazing evening to dance together.



5th day

Today we visited Plovdive. This is one of the most oldest towns in Bulgaria. Its origin is from the Romanian age. We visited some historical places, and the ethnographic museum there. In the evening we had a farewell dinner together and after the dinner the children palyed together.
