Adult Learners’ Mobility in Antalya – Zumba

In April 2025, our organization participated in a special international adult learners' mobility in Turkey. Within the framework of the program "Digital literacy for wellbeing", 18 adult learners and 1 accompanying person traveled to Antalya, where the focus was placed on healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and the use of digital tools.

Our host partner, CEKDEV International Education & Development Academy, organized an excellent professional program that combined learning the basic Zumba steps with the possibilities of digital health monitoring. Throughout the week, participants got acquainted with various applications and digital devices (such as smartwatches, activity trackers, MyFitnessPal, ZIN app), which enabled them to monitor their physical activity, heart rate, and key lifestyle indicators.

The training primarily focused on practice: participants attended daily Zumba workouts, warm-ups, stretching sessions, and interval trainings. Meanwhile, they also learned about healthy nutrition, the importance of regeneration, as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques. As part of the program, participants kept a personal development journal where they digitally recorded their progress, condition, and individual goals.

On the final day of the mobility, participants presented short choreographies to demonstrate how much they had progressed during the week — not only in terms of physical movement, but also in self-awareness, consciousness, and health-oriented mindset.

The mobility provided not only professional knowledge but also community experiences, new international connections, and skills that can be applied in the long term. Our participants are able to use the knowledge gained both in their daily lives and within their communities.
