International Draughts European Youth Championships - 3rd day

2024.07.311. - 2024.08.10. International Draughts European Youth Championships, Jelgava, Latvia. Day 3:

On August 3, there was competition only in the morning. After the games, Bálint was constantly analysing with the competitors and solving combinations with the stronger players in the free time. After lunch, a short historical walk and excursion followed. We visited the Trinity Temple and Tower, the riverside, the Peter's Academy, a Roman Catholic and an Orthodox church. Unfortunately, our evening program was pulled through by the weather. There was hail and heavy rain, so we were unable to visit the wild horses. But what goes around comes around. We'll get back to that during our stay.
