International Draughts European Youth Championships - 7th day

2024.07.31. - 2024.08.10. International Draughts European Youth Championships, Jelgava, Latvia. Day 7:

Today was the last, 9th round of the calssic parties. Overall, this was the most successful day with 6 victories for our athletes.

In the classic field, our most successful competitor was Noémi Balogh with 9 points, followed by Bence Andicsku and Noémi Meszesán with 8 points and Anna Vécsei with 7 points. The little ones also did well in their first international competition of their lives. Krisztina Hajdu scored 6 points and Viktoria Csonka 3 points in the international field. The good news is that no one was left without points. Jázmin Bíró with 6 points, Andrea Draguner with 6 points, Krisztina Draguner with 5 points, Buda Pauer with 5 points and Bence Homoki with 3 points finished the classic competition. Tomorrow is a new day, a new event, the 9 rounds of the rapid. Here, a much faster game and a much faster mindset is required, as instead of the previous 80 minutes, the competitors have only 15 minutes to play a game.

During the afternoon, we walked along the river bank, played game
