Kin-BALL in Afyon

Implementing countries: Turkey, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary. The main objective is to effectively integrate young people with fewer opportunities through sport and games. A joint meeting took place in Afyon, Turkey, from 15-19 July. Kin-ball is the specific sport that we discovered in the framework of the Play4Peace project. This dynamic, team-based game perfectly symbolises the values of the project: cooperation, respect and equal opportunities. The game's unique feature is that all three teams are on the field at the same time, and success can only be achieved if everyone works together. During the game, the young people experienced not only the joy of movement, but also how to work together towards a common goal. It was outstanding to see participants from different nationalities and backgrounds supporting each other, cheering on their teammates and celebrating success together.

Through team games we discovered not only the joy of sport, but also that true victory lies in working together. So Kin-ball is more than a sport - it's a tool to help build bridges between people.
