Our Talents in Mind Sports – HUF 4.7 Million in Funding for Talent Development

The Kállósemjéni Diákokért és Ifjakért Egyesület has received HUF 4,700,000 in funding under the National Talent Programme’s “Talent Within Reach - Support for Complex Talent Development Programmes” grant scheme.

The aim of the “Our Talents in Mind Sports” programme is to identify and provide comprehensive development opportunities for talented and motivated young people aged 6-18 through mind sports, especially draughts and other logic-based board games. The regular sessions support the development of strategic thinking, problem-solving, concentration, self-regulation, and community cooperation.

The programme includes professional development sessions, individual and small-group development, mentoring elements, community programmes, and intensive talent development activities. Our aim is to help participants use their strengths more consciously, build their self-confidence, and remain active members of the mind sports community in the long term.

The “Our Talents in Mind Sports” programme, project ID NTP-TEHETSEG-25-0149, was implemented with the support of the National Talent Programme, from the National Talent Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation. The amount of funding is HUF 4,700,000. The implementation period of the programme: 01.09.2025-31.08.2026.
