Play4Peace – Sports for Integration

The project’s main goal is the effective integration of young people with fewer opportunities through sports and games.

From June 20-25, our project took place in Nyírbátor with our Turkish and Romanian partner organizations. Unfortunately, our Slovak partners were unable to attend. During the program, participants got introduced to this sport and played a friendly match together.

The game involves three teams at the same time, shifting the focus from competition to collaboration. Participants enthusiastically engaged in the activity, creating an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere. Kin-ball not only promotes physical activity but also conveys values such as inclusion, respect, and teamwork.

After the game, many participants shared that they had never tried anything like it before and would be happy to introduce this sport in their own communities. Kin-ball is a perfect example of how sports can serve as a tool for unity and friendship. Experiences like this help build strong community bonds and ensure that everyone has a place in shared activities.
