Practice, Development, Strategy
During the regular mind sports sessions, participants develop their strategic thinking, concentration, and problem-solving skills through play. In draughts, every move creates a new decision-making situation: it is important to recognise the opponent’s intentions, consider the consequences, and plan several moves ahead.
During the sessions, practice and analysis complement each other. The young participants learn not only from successful solutions, but also from jointly analysing mistakes, helping them develop perseverance, self-reflection, and resilience in dealing with setbacks.
The “Our Talents in Mind Sports” programme, project ID NTP-TEHETSEG-25-0149, was implemented with the support of the National Talent Programme, from the National Talent Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation. The amount of funding is HUF 4,700,000. The implementation period of the programme: 01.09.2025-31.08.2026.
