The cimbalom sounds better every week

As part of our project CSSP-ZENEOKTAT-2024-0121 - Lovers of Folk Instruments, our beginner cimbalom lessons have been running for two months now, with sessions held once a week.

We are delighted to see the progress! The youth have already mastered basic striking techniques and rhythm exercises and are now beginning to play their first simple folk melodies. Their coordination, sense of rhythm, and musical ear are all steadily improving.

But it’s more than just music - they’re learning to listen to each other, play in harmony, and express themselves through sound. Led by a dedicated music teacher, the sessions remain engaging and fun, helping the children stay motivated throughout.

We hope this growing enthusiasm brings even more young musicians to discover the beauty of the cimbalom!
