At this year’s Village Day, the young people of AktionKlub once again took an active role in implementing local community programmes.

Throughout the day, they welcomed children and families with various games, skill-based activities, and creative workshops. Participants could try movement-based games, group tasks, and craft activities, while the young people helped run the sessions and encouraged everyone to get involved.

As part of the Village Day, an important role was also given to a gathering of young people who had moved away from Kállósemjén. The occasion created an opportunity for young people connected to the village to meet again, build relationships, share their experiences, and reconnect with community life in Kállósemjén.

The programme also included an information day entitled “Day of Nations in the Spirit of Solidarity and Volunteering”, which focused on openness, acceptance of others, solidarity, and the importance of volunteering. The aim was to bring young people closer together, introduce them to different forms of community responsibility, and motivate them to participate actively.

One of the main goals of AktionKlub is for young people to be not only participants, but also organisers and active shapers of local community life. Village Day once again provided an excellent opportunity for this, offering shared experiences, new encounters, and opportunities for cooperation for everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who joined the programmes, and special thanks to the young people for their enthusiastic contribution!

The programmes were implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ Youth Participation project “AktionKlub: Take Action, Stand Up for Your Community!”
