6th LTTA in Romania

Updated: Jan 4, 2023

From 26.03.2022 to 02.04.2022, we organised the last (6th) LTTA in Amara, Romania, in the framework of our Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Programme "Household without chemicals". 4-4 students from each country and 2-2 accompanying teachers participated. The Hungarian team left on Saturday afternoon 26 March for their first train challenge. After a train ride of almost 20 hours we arrived in Bucharest and checked into our hotel. The train was comfortable, although on such a long journey it is good to sleep. Unfortunately we were not travelling in a sleeper. We'll try that next time. In the evening we welcomed our partners. The next day we visited the Parliament (the 2nd largest building in the world after the Penragon), the Palace of Magic and the Botanical Gardens. In the evening we set off for Amara. After a bus ride of almost 2 hours we arrived at our accommodation. The next day we were given a very warm welcome at the school. The students learned about each other, played sports, planted a tree and made toothpaste and cleaning products using natural materials. The students gave presentations on the cleaning and washing habits of the old days. The Polish group made a great film on the topic. The next day we went on a trip to the Dinosaur Park and visited Count Dracula's castle. The next day, music and activities awaited the students in the children's castle in the town. In the evening, we had a sensational farewell dinner and an exciting dance performance. The next day we visited the cathedral and the agricultural museum. We returned home enriched with many experiences. On the return journey, the next 20 hours on the train seemed like a fleeting moment. Close friendships, many memories, laughter and experiences were left behind.
