Multiplication events

In the framework of the project, we experienced many difficulties and collected many beautiful memories. During the project, we assessed among the families of our students how many chemicals are used in households these days and not only for cleaning, but also for physical hygiene and meals. That's why we tried to draw the attention of families and students to how to reduce the use of chemicals a little and live and eat healthier. It is shocking how high the ecological footprint of people and individual institutions is. Waste of water and food is significant. Environmental pollution is very high in many countries, and we feel its effects on our own skin every day. As a result of global warming, the summer season is becoming more and more unbearable and without irrigation we can no longer harvest quality crops from our small gardens. Therefore, it is very important that our children and, through them, their families understand the importance of a frugal lifestyle, protecting the environment, conserving water, and avoiding chemicals. In the framework of the project, in addition to research, the participating children germinated plants and observed the optimal conditions necessary for plant growth. They learned to prepare home-made dishes based on recipes from old times, and in the process got to know the plants and recipes of other nations (olive berries, olive oil, oregano, other spices). We were able to compare which nation includes plants and vegetables in their diet, and how much they can avoid meat dishes. We have created a mobile application that counts the ecological footprint, which gives daily tips on how we can relieve the burden on nature and reduce our ecological footprint. Together, we learned to make hygiene products that can be used excellently during cleaning, washing, and cleaning, while protecting our environment and the earth. At the end of the project, we created educational games that help students learn about the topic of environmental protection and reducing the ecological footprint in a playful way and can even be used in teaching lessons, integrated into the topics of environmental education, nature education, or even geography lessons, class teacher lessons. For the 5-5 national food recipes and 5-5 hygiene product recipes of the 6 countries, lesson plans were also prepared, which show examples of how environmental protection and nature conservation topics can be taught in an interdisciplinary manner within the framework of each subject. At our closing event, several NGOs, public education institutions and the municipality were represented, where they could try out the mobile app and the games. We hope that they will include the dead here in their activities.
