Early in the morning, we took on the world again. From Pavona we left at 7:30 am for Rome and from there to Pisa by train. The worst part of the train ride was when the high speed made our ears plug up so badly that we were almost crying. Even on the plane our ears never got so plugged up. After 3 and a half hours on the train, we got off in Pisa and looked for a place to have lunch.
We admired the Ferdetorny in Pisa and had a really good Italian lunch. In a small Italian restaurant, six of us sampled six different Italian pastas and none of us were disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was very nice. In the afternoon at 17:30 we continued on to Milan. Another 4 hour train ride along the coast. We were excited to see the waves of the sea coming in between the tunnels.
We arrived in Milan at 10:30 and after a quick dinner we settled into our accommodation.
Another long and tiring, but eventful day behind us.
