46th Golden Prague | International Draughts | Talent Development
Our players participated in the 46th Golden Prague international draughts tournament in Prague, where they had the opportunity to test their skills against a strong international field.
The classical 100-square international draughts tournament, held between 17–23 August 2026, required several days of serious concentration, perseverance, strategic thinking, and competitive experience from the participants.
Our players’ results:

Bettembuk Nándor – 33rd place, 7 points
Ambrózy Bálint – 42nd place, 5 points
Mezei Márk – 43rd place, 5 points
Pálfy Anna Gina – 47th place, 4 points
The Golden Prague was a particularly valuable stage in our talent development work, as our players had the opportunity to compete against experienced international opponents, experience new competitive situations, and gain professional experience that will support their long-term development.
International competitions like this play an important role in the development of young draughts players. Participants not only achieve results, but also learn from their games, while improving their decision-making, concentration, strategic thinking, and ability to adapt to competitive situations.
The participation in Prague fits well into the professional work aimed at supporting young talents, expanding their international competition experience, and strengthening the next generation of Hungarian draughts players.
