Day 2

On our second day, we talked about the two basic components of our lives, motivation and awareness. These elements determine how we stand in the world and how we find balance and contentment in our daily lives. Motivation sets us in motion, spurring us to action. Different motivational techniques - whether it's our inner desires, external rewards or even our sense of responsibility - help us to set and achieve goals. Mindfulness, or mindfulness, is the art of being alert. This state helps us to be present in the moment, mindful and accepting. The practice of mindfulness is particularly important in the modern world, where information explosions and fast pace can easily distract us. For example, a walk in a botanical garden is a great way to practice mindfulness. Observing and learning about plants helps us to be fully present in the moment and find peace in a noisy world. Overall, if we can balance motivation and awareness in our lives, we can live each day happily and mindfully.
