As part of our Adult Learning Project (project number 2023-1-HU01-KA121-ADU-000114582), a group mobility program took place in Antalya, Turkey, from May 30 to June 4, involving 21 participants and 4 accompanying leaders. The program focused on skill development to combat burnout for individuals over 40.
During the 5-day program, participants engaged in various activities such as yoga, sculpting, cross-stitch embroidery, and exploring Turkish gastronomy, traditions, and culture. For many, this was their first time traveling abroad, and even their first experience flying.
The journey also provided an opportunity for participants to familiarize themselves with digital tools. They created a Messenger group for communication and information sharing, used Google Maps for route planning, checked flight schedules on airline websites, searched for information about the country’s landmarks online, and took photos, which they learned to share on social media.
This enriching experience not only fostered personal growth but also enhanced digital literacy and cultural awareness among participants.
