The third day of our stay in France also brought many new experiences and valuable insights.
We began the morning once again at the dojo, where we continued our practical Krav Maga training. The session started with strength and conditioning exercises, followed by activities designed to improve speed and reaction time. Finally, we practised various unarmed self-defence techniques. The session further contributed to developing the participants’ self-defence skills, self-confidence and situational awareness.
After the morning programme, we also had the opportunity to discover the flavours of Indian cuisine, which provided another shared experience for the group.
The main professional programme of the afternoon was a visit to the Le Havre City Court. We first received a comprehensive introduction to the functioning of the French legal system and the institutional framework of the judiciary. This was followed by a special interactive session. In one of the courtrooms, under the guidance of a French lawyer and a female judge, we acted out a complete court hearing. Through this activity, the participants gained a closer understanding of how the French justice system operates, the responsibilities of the different actors and the logic of legal procedures.
At the end of the day, we continued exploring the city of Le Havre during a walk of almost one hour, gaining further shared experiences.
The day was particularly important for us, as it strengthened practical knowledge related to personal safety while also contributing to greater legal awareness, a better understanding of institutional processes and the development of an active citizenship mindset.
