Between 19.03.2023.-23.03.2023. the 3rd study visit of the Erasmus+ Climate Guardians LTTA mobility programme 2021-2-HU01-KA210-SCH-000051494 took place.We spent 5 days with our Croatian, Italian and Turkish guests who came to Hungary to get to know the natural treasures of our country. Each nation created its own board game related to environmental protection and geoparks. We learned each other's games, which we will use in our education. The aim of the programme is to see and learn about the Hungarian geopark resources that support education. To this end, we explored the Novohrad-Nógrád Geopark, visited the Szalajka Valley where we could admire the educational trail, the Forestry Museum, the Fátyol waterfall. We got acquainted with the tree species of the Bükk National Park and our native fish species. In the stalactite cave in Aggtelek we learned about the process of stalactite formation, then in Ipolytarnóc we were transported back 20-30 million years into the past by studying fossil remains. We visited the Anna Cave and then admired the sights of Lillafüred. Everyone had a great time and we came home with lots of new information!
