Draughts Camp | Talent Development | Mind Sports

Between July 3-8, 2026, we organised a draughts camp within the framework of project NTP-TEHETSEG-25-0149.

The aim of the camp was to support the development of talented young people interested in mind sports, deepen their knowledge of draughts, and strengthen their strategic thinking, concentration, problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to competitive situations.

During the programme, participants took part in professional sessions, practice games, analyses and community programmes. The camp provided a good opportunity for the young people to develop intensively, learn from one another and gain further motivation to continue progressing in draughts.

Draughts is not only a game, but also a mind sport that develops thinking, patience, perseverance and conscious decision-making. It is important to us that talented young people can develop in a supportive environment where they receive professional guidance, community experiences and positive reinforcement.
