Draughts - Thinking and Community Learning
During the programme sessions, young people develop their logical thinking, attention and foresight in a playful way. In draughts, even a single decision can change the course of a game, so participants continuously practise careful planning and considering the consequences.
Practising together also provides an opportunity for the young people to observe, discuss and evaluate one another’s solutions. In this way, mind sports offer challenge, a sense of achievement, learning and community experience at the same time.
The “Our Talents in Mind Sports” programme, project ID NTP-TEHETSEG-25-0149, was implemented with the support of the National Talent Programme, from the National Talent Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation. The amount of funding is HUF 4,700,000. The implementation period of the programme: 2025.09.01-2026.08.31.
