#Erasmus+Sport
In the framework of the Erasmus+ Sport project "A new community sport - kinball" (contract number 2023-1-HU01-KA182-SPO-000113269 ) we travelled with 9 participants to Dortmund, Germany. On the day of arrival we tried to get used to the cold and the early darkness. After arriving at around 14:00 we checked in and took the train to the centre of Dortmund. Dortmund is not an old historic city, so we just explored the city's football history and the history of German football. We visited the German Football Museum. On every corner you can find a Borusia Dortmund shop selling souvenirs of the team.
We visited a church, which was also strikingly modern. Especially the organ.
Afterwards we got into the Christmas Market.
Dortmund has the world's largest Christmas tree. The 45m high installation is made up of 1,000 spruce trees and decorated with 48,000 lights. The world's largest Christmas tree has been built every year since 1996. At the top is a 4 m high angel weighing 200 kg.
On Monday on the way back we will see it when the lights are lit.
