#Erasmus+ Sport
As part of the Erasmus+ Sport project (Title: "A New Community Sport – Kin-Ball", Contract Number: 2023-1-HU01-KA182-SPO-000113269), 11 participants are attending an intensive training program with the Spanish Kin-Ball Federation from October 16-25.
On October 16, we arrived late at night in Madrid by plane. Our accommodation was at the Mola Hostel in the city center. We found it relatively easily, reaching it within an hour by two buses, which conveniently dropped us off right at the hostel's entrance.
We spent the night in capsule-style beds. In the morning, we packed our belongings, stored our luggage in the hostel’s baggage room, and had breakfast on-site. During breakfast, we gathered ideas for our upcoming youth club, particularly on setting up a small café space for young people.
After breakfast, we explored the city and visited the Royal Palace of Madrid. We spent nearly three hours inside, but we could have stayed much longer. Unfortunately, we missed visiting the Royal Kitchen, as reservations had to be made weeks in advance online.
At the end of the day, after an adventurous search, we found the bus to Jaén, which took us almost four hours to reach our destination in southern Spain. By evening, we arrived, where our Spanish partners, Eva and Pablo, welcomed us. Our accommodation was in a charming historic house, and for dinner, we had the opportunity to taste typical Spanish dishes.
