As part of the Erasmus+ Sport project, under the grant number 2023-1-HU01-KA182-SPO-000113269, two participants took part in a professional visit to the Czech Republic from September 18-23, hosted by the Czech Kin-Ball Federation.
On the first day, we traveled to Olomouc, where we had the opportunity to participate in a teacher training session alongside Czech physical education teachers and representatives from the Czech University of Physical Education.
The next day in Pardubice, we observed Kin-Ball training sessions led by certified coaches for both beginner and advanced groups. In the evening, we got an exclusive insight into competitive Kin-Ball matches, witnessing women’s, men’s, and mixed-category games.
On the third day, we had the privilege of exploring Pardubice’s sports and historical heritage, guided by the president of the Czech Kin-Ball Federation.
During our visit to Prague, we attended a Kin-Ball referee training session at Sunny, a Canadian-based kindergarten, primary, and secondary school. We trained alongside Czech youth, gaining valuable insights into officiating.
On our final day, we took part in an official Kin-Ball tournament as referees. The morning session featured competitions between beginner and advanced teams, while in the afternoon, we witnessed a high-level match between the men’s and women’s Czech national teams, who were preparing for the upcoming World Championship in South Korea.
This mobility experience provided us with invaluable professional development, networking opportunities, and a deeper understanding of Kin-Ball coaching and competition management.
