Under the framework of the "PEACE" project (contract number: 101126579 — PEACE), we successfully collaborated with two Turkish organizations. A total of 30 volunteers participated in this joint effort: 10 volunteers from the Turkish civil organization Topluma Destek Dernegi, 10 volunteers from the Genclik Calismalari Dernegi, and 10 volunteers from our organization.

The volunteers supported our association's work for 45 days, enhancing the summer camp programs. Our goal was to fill the days of disadvantaged children from Kállósemjén and children fleeing the horrors of war in Ukraine with meaningful and enjoyable activities.

In the first session, students arrived from Ivano-Frankivsk and, together with local students from Kállósemjén, practiced Russian draughts and other intellectual sports. They also participated in joint sports, recreational, and cultural programs, creating lasting memories and new friendships. The group was accompanied by grandmasters Konstantin Baltazhy and Olga Baltazhy.

During the camp, our volunteers and staff learned a great deal about working together, effective communication, and overcoming language barriers.
