April 1, 2025 – The 1st “Töröksemjén Jog” Inspired by Umut Cakar
On April 1, 2025, at the initiative of our short-term volunteer Umut Cakar, we organized the 1st Töröksemjén Jog – officially named the “Crazy Run”, in the spirit of April Fools’ Day.
The atmosphere was truly joyful and vibrant. We give special thanks to the adults who joined in and completed the run, contributing greatly to the cheerful mood of the event. Even a floppy-eared dog participated and, along with its owner, was the first to cross the finish line among the adults!
Many thanks to the local civil guards for ensuring the safety of the route, and a big thank you to Deputy Mayor Tamás Graholy for generously providing pizza at the end of the race.
We hope this fun little sporting event will become a tradition, and that next year we can welcome even more participants!
The goal of the race wasn’t just running – it was also about having fun, playing together, and enjoying good conversation after the jog.
